• Free Public Snorkel Clinics: SEA has partnered up with St. Croix's Committee for International Year of the Reef to offer free snorkel clinics to St. Croix community members. The following dates and locations have been set for upcoming public snorkel clinics: Sunday, October (at Altona Beach), Saturday, November 22nd(at Green Cay Beach) and Sunday, December 14th (at Fort Frederik Beach). • 3 PSAs were developed to help raise awareness of both local IYOR activities as well as their connection to the public community (beach and fisheries cultures).   Don't miss our summer feature of the popular Finding Nemo on Friday, June 27th. This family-friendly event, our 4th movie showing in our IYOR film series, will be hosted at the University of the Virgin Island's Great Hall on St. Croix beginning at 7:00pm. • Sunday June 8th World Ocean Day Snorkel Clinic & Beach Clean-Up

  Everyone is invited to Frederiksted's Dorsch Beach for our fourth snorkel clinic on Sunday, June 8th from 10am-12noon to celebrate World Ocean Day.
  The event is family-friendly and FREE with snorkeling gear provided. Join our beach and underwater clean-ups and build a trash sculpture for prizes! (View flyer (PDF File)

  

• Sunday, May 25th St. Croix Reef Jam Festival

  Get ready to jam to your favorite local musicians Jamesie & The All-Star Band and Kurt Schindler at our St. Croix Reef Jam benefit concert. Have fun listening to great music, partaking in fishing and marine related games and demonstrations while supporting coral reef education efforts on St. Croix. Reef Jam 2008 will be held on Sunday, May 25th at Rhythm's at Rainbow Beach in Frederiksted from 1:00-8:00pm.
  Other event features include a fish fry, slideshows and videos, and underwater photography contest, guest speakers, raffle prizes and more! All proceeds will stay on St. Croix for coral reef conservation efforts in the form of education and outreach programs. Visit www.reefjam.com
