Activities

Project AWARE Foundation is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving underwater environments through education, advocacy and action. In partnership with divers and water enthusiasts, Project AWARE will focus attention on worldwide IYOR events all year including:

  • Reef Cleanups - Use your underwater skills and be part of the effort to remove harmful debris from reef environments. Project AWARE, in partnership with with dive professionals and the Ocean Conservancy, is the underwater coordinator for International Cleanup Day. During this annual event and year-round, Project AWARE conducts shoreline and underwater cleanups in more than 100 countries and territories. Project AWARE dive volunteers help make underwater environments cleaner and safer while collecting critical data for the cause.
